1) Tasks: The first task that we had this week was to compile a list of companies in the this industry. Each of us in our group are now looking into about 11 companies. We are trying to find enough information for us to decide if we should continue looking into those companies.
2) Progress Made: I compiled my first list. We have now separated the lists between each of us. I feel like we have a better direction of where we are going now that we have reorganized some things. I have started to find information for my assigned companies.
3) Lessons Learned: One thing that I have learned is that most of the companies in this industry are owned by other companies or are branch of a bigger company. I have also learned the value of being organized when you are in charge of a group. I realized this last week that it is nice to have your people format and organize things in the same way, but also that they can become frustrated if there are a lot of protocols that are expected of them.

May 22,2010 Team Project update
1) This week I compiled a list of companies to do research on for our competitive analysis. I then started looking deeper into these companies.
2) I feel like our team is not really organized very well. As of right now I don't feel that we will find in depth information on the companies if we keep doing things as we are right now.
4) This week I learned that in order for us to give the client what they want then we will need to understand what they are looking for. It is really important to ask questions.
